The Massachusetts Division of Ecological Restoration (DER) is hiring a Stream Continuity Program Manager (Regional Planner IV)! This position will play a critical role managing DER’s Stream Continuity Program which assists in a state-wide effort to improve aquatic habitat connectivity, restore fish and wildlife passage, and increase climate and flood resiliency at road-stream crossings. Position: Regional Planner IV
Description: The Division of Ecological Restoration (DER) seeks a team player who takes initiative, enjoys problem-solving and finding solutions, and is inspired to mentor and collaborate with other people. Join us as the Division’s Stream Continuity Program Manager (Regional Planner IV) in contributing to ecological and community resiliency by working with partners to reconnect stream habitat, reduce storm hazards, and restore fish passage at road-stream crossings (i.e. culverts and bridges). The Program also supports strategic coordination on stream continuity efforts across Massachusetts. As DER’s Stream Continuity Program Manager, you will help increase the scale and pace of stream continuity restoration activities across the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Location: Westfield OR Boston, MA (hybrid)
