Private and municipal landowners of conserved lands can apply for funding for projects that improve habitat for wildlife, enhance climate resiliency, and promote public recreational opportunities. Upland, wetland, and aquatic projects are eligible. The FY26 Request for Proposals is now live, and applications are due by 4 p.m. October 31, 2025. Grant awards will be announced by early January, and funds must be expended by June 30, 2026. Over the past 10 years, the program has awarded $3.5M in funding for 118 projects.
