2,000+ Acres of Forest in the West Quabbin Region Permanently Conserved

Kestrel Land Trust and The Trustees are thrilled to announce the permanent protection of more than 2,000 acres of forest in Pelham and Belchertown—which contains two of the largest contiguous forested tracts in the Valley.

Through this enduring partnership, the land trusts will ensure that this natural forest is conserved for the benefit of wildlife and water quality, with guaranteed public access to sections of the Robert Frost Trail in Pelham and New England Scenic Trail in Belchertown.
