Northeastern University’s service-learning program connects students in a variety of courses with community partners. This past semester, Network Manager Emily Fidanza presented virtually to students in an Introduction in Visual Journalism course about the work of the Massachusetts Food System Collaborative. The students were motivated to explore a variety of food system topics further for their final projects. They wrote stories exploring urban agriculture, SNAP/HIP, farmers markets, and more.
