The Food Project’s Fall Institute – 9/29 to 10/1 – Eastern Massachusetts

The 2024 Fall Institute will take place at three unique sites where The Food Project works in both urban and suburban settings, and offer a full day of immersion into the organization’s youth programs. Participants will have the opportunity to meet numerous current organization staff (across all department areas) and youth participants. The agenda is as follows:

• Thursday, 9/29/22: Youth Development Theory and Curriculum – Ingalls Farm and Common in Lynn.
• Friday, 9/30/22: Agriculture, Food Distribution and Community Partnerships – Reynolds Farm in Wenham.
• Saturday 10/1/22: Deepening Learning through Youth Crew Immersion – Baker Bridge Farm in Lincoln.

During lunchtime on these days, there will be supplemental conversations with other staff around some of our other org support areas such as development, finance, strategic planning, communications, operations, etc.  And we hope to incorporate participants in an ongoing community of practice for shared learning across this work.

Cost: The Food Project is offering access to the Fall 2024 Institute at a range of prices ($400-$700) depending on your organization or individual access to financial resources.  This is an intentional effort to provide equitable access to this knowledge and experience to as many organizations and individuals as possible.  Please see the registration page for more details.
