SUMMARY:MACC 2023 Annual Environmental Conference
DESCRIPTION:Don’t miss MACC’s 2023 Annual Environmental Conference (AEC) from February 28 -March 9\, 2023! You can participate without leaving your home or office as the conference will be offered virtually via Zoom.   \nWe are excited about the variety of programs this year\, with 36 workshops on climate resiliency\, stormwater\, Wetlands Protection Act regulations; open space\, solar siting\, invasive species; diversity\, equity & inclusion in conservation; dam removals; soils\, plant identification\, forests and much more!  In addition\, we are offering 10 Fundamental Units during a month-long “Spring Spree”. Take them all or just the ones you have missed! \nSchedule \nOur workshops will be 1-hour sessions to provide maximum flexibility to the conference schedule. Fundamentals Units are offered in the evenings during the week\, and on Saturdays during the conference. Additional Fundamentals Units are offered later in March to allow new commissioners to start\, or complete\, the certification program this spring! \nAwards Ceremony & Business Meeting \nMark your calendars also for our Awards Ceremony on March 2\, 2023 at 6 pm\, and our Annual Business Meeting on March 4\, 2023 at 9 am\, when we will vote for our new Board of Directors.
