With Linda Allis and the COA\nOk everyone! Linda leads exercises to make sure we’re able to get off the floor\nwhen we need to. Just a few simple adjustments can make all the difference. \n3:00 pm: MEMA EMERGENCY PREP WORKSHOP\, Nate Moreau\, MEMA\nOur new MEMA rep will walk us through getting our households ready to go. From\nfood and water necessities to emergency tools\, to communications\, Nate will give us\nactionable items we can use to get ready\, and to stay ready. This is the workshop that\nprovides the building blocks for preparedness. That\, and we have each other! \n4:00 pm: READY OR NOT LIVE GAME SHOW: Karin Parks\, your iconic host!\nPut your thinking caps on… Questions worked up from all of our emergency services divisions ask contestants Is it an emergency\, or is it something else? Are we ready\, or are we not? Each answer reveals emergency prep information and helpful nuggets while also leading our winner to a prize! \n5:00 pm: THE NEW LEYDEN COMPREHENSIVE EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT PLAN: David Pomerantz\, EMD + Team\nCome familiarize yourself with the plan for our town in an emergency. This is a truly community based approach to response that involves everyone\, including our new Emergency Neighborhood model and Snowmobile Corps. \nONGOING: STORM STORIES PROJECT: Nan Rolstad and Leyden Historical Commission Oral history project of storms in Leyden.
