Along with the test results\, you’ll be given a brochure for information on the pXRF tool\, guidance based on your result and there will be soil health and urban agriculture staff to discuss and collect resources along with potential next steps for your growing practice. \n\nFrom Microscopes to Metals: Integrating Light Microscopy and pXRF for Soil Analysis \nDiscover the power of combining light microscopy with portable X-ray fluorescence (pXRF) to gain a deeper understanding of soil health and contamination.  \nIn this hands-on workshop\, participants will explore the microscopic world of soil life and structure while learning to quantify heavy metal contamination\, specifically lead (Pb) using the pXRF technology. This integrated approach provides critical insights for assessing soil quality\, informing remediation efforts\, and ensuring safer growing environments.
